On this day we are sending prayers and hugs to the families of; Det. Becker, Det. Emenheiser and Det. Baker from the Northern Regional District Police Dept. of York, Pa.
This along with prayers and hugs to the co-workers of the Police Dept. as they lay their loved ones and brothers in law enforcement to rest.
May they always know that their loved ones will never be forgotten. They will always be remembered and held high in total respect for the jobs they unselfishly did everyday. God bless them all.
Our Mission
MISSION
Provide assistance, support and education to the families and coworkers of Law Enforcement and Correctional Officers killed in the line of duty; and to provide other such services in support and acknowledgement of each Law Enforcement and Correctional Officer killed in the line of duty as determined by the Executive Board and Legacy Advisory Committee of the Blue Star Law Enforcement Family Survivors Support Association, Inc.
VISION
The Blue Star Law Enforcement Family Survivors Support Association, Inc. Shall provide lifelong support to the families and coworkers of Law Enforcement and Correctional Officers killed in the line of duty, as recognized by at least One of the following organizations,
1. National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (Officer Down Memorial Page, ODMP).
2. The Fraternal Order of Police Maryland State Lodge.
3. Public Safety Officers Benefits Program (PSOB). Services provided shall be provided by means of monetary support, Peer Support, counselling, educational support and other services deemed as appropriate by the Executive Board and the Legacy Advisory Committee.
